Lets be honest, 10 years prior game soup would have been a flash game on the internet you play once and forget about. Its terribly short with the prerequesite endless and fast mode at the end. Its in bad, bad need of some antialiasing BUT it is fun. Is it as fun as the warioware games its inspired by? mechanically, sure. However it lacks the polish especially in the voice (there's none) and music department. Is this worth three dollars? Well if 20 minutes of gameplay seems fair to you for the price of a big chocolate bar, sure. It was made by two people and I commend their efforts. The cat-theme and reused assets give it some charm and personality however i do think it would have been more value for them to seperate their games into 2-3 themes, add a couple more to round out the numbers and create some kind of story ala warioware. Meaning you'd have 3 characters, the mixer and a hardcore or infinite version for each which would have increased the amount of content for not that much effort and would have gotten it out of "its a flash game" territory. As i said the game is not bad and i expect some cool stuff from Game Soup.inc in the future but dont expect this to be a modern warioware either.. AMAZING GAME!! The beautiful art style and musical themes are accompanied by addictively fun gameplay. The dev is a super genuine and nice guy, and he deserves all the support he can get. 10/10 would play while listening to an angry man get hit by Vanguard.. This game is a lot of fun. It's basically an assortment of mini-games that you need to solve within a certain time limit(the bars at the bottom is the timer). The mini-games are randomized so you're not playing the sames one in the same order each time. Each run is a new order of mini-games. There's 46 puzzles so while you may replay ones you played in the attempt before there will be ones you didn't which is pretty neat because it keeps things interesting and keeps you on your toes.Each mini-game is also different in that some require a single action, while others require more. Some are a little easy and others are more difficult, but not unfair. There is a lot of callbacks to old style games which is also a nice touch. I would honestly recommend playing it. 10/10. Deceptively simple, quick, fun collection of microgames that make you say "Just One More Time" each time you fail. Add in some humor, throwbacks to classics, great art, and great music and you've got something worth killing time with. Pick it up!. Game Soup is fast-paced and fun! Each round tests your ability to think and act quickly. The simple directions provide just enough information to help players figure out what needs to be done to win the round. This is a fun game for beginners as well as more experienced gamers, as the rounds get to be quicker and more difficult as the game goes on. The music is catchy and the art is cute. I absolutely recommend Game Soup!. I wanna start this review off by mentioning I've never played a WarioWare game. My editor recommended this one to me because I really like challenging games and for the unbeatable price of 2$ I couldn't resist. The gameplay mainly consists of 5 second very basic mini games. You don't really have to think hard on how to solve them, but you do need to react very quickly or you lose a life. The fun really comes from when you get surprised by a mini game you haven't seen before and suddenly have to react. All of the mini games are reasonably fun. After giving the game a try I really gotta mention how fun the game was in the short while I played it. The replayability is really where the game will likely shine.
