Nice graphic, innovative game mechanics, over-complicated story and a lot of backtracking and pixel-hunting.However I can't recommend it. The game contains a game-breaking bug which sometimes irreversibly corrupts your save file. I have lost 4 hours of progress because of it and had to restart and finish the game in one sitting to see the ending. According to the discussions the bug has been known and reported for 5 years but has never been fixed. Unacceptable.. I love hidden object games, and this one has extra puzzles to liven things up. There's also a murder mystery plot, and enough content to keep anyone entertained for hours. Recommended.. Fantastic hidden object and puzzle game with a couple of "didn't see that coming" twists. In Angelica Weaver: Catch Me When You Can, you play the part of Angelica Weaver, psychic detective. Your mission is to solve a murder by hunting for clues in both the past and the present. This is done, unsurprisingly, by finding objects and solving puzzles. The puzzles aren't too difficult, but a lot of them are quite challenging and require patience and "thinking outside the box". As far as graphics and story, this game is actually among one of the best I've played in this genre. The graphics are smooth and good quality, and while the voice acting won't win any awards, it's still quite good, especially compared to a lot of other games in the hidden object\/puzzle game genre. I wouldn't recommend paying full price for this game, as it's quite short (I finished it in less than 3 hours), but if you see it at 50%+ sale, then it's worth grabbing.. It's a crappy object finding game same as the rest of them.I give it 1 out of 4 objects. Nothing to see here, move along.. Good story line. I love crime solving gamesGood balance between puzzles and hidden objects.The fact that you go back in time to resolve cold cases is really refreshing.You also have achievements you can get, that gives the game a little more \u00aboomph\u00bb and you can try to get them all by doing the game again. Interesting point&click adventure with nice character and thrilling well written story. Difficulty is light and almost too novice friendly and thus playthrough won't last much more than few hours, but this is not necessarily a bad thing if you prefer exciting storyline more than hard puzzles.. I'd like to give a neutral review, but since I have to chose I'll go with "yes".The story is interesting, though all the time-hopping is a bit confusing.The hidden object scenes were good and contained a twist; in some puzzles some of the words to find were just vague descriptions of the object. You can click on any word/description to get a silhouette showing the outline of the objects without expending a hint.The puzzles were pretty hard, and I actually skipped a couple of them. There's also the usual kinda of weird point-and-click logic where you need to use the exact right object in the right situation, even though you have in your inventory objects that would probably work as well. You can find "hint tokens" all over the place; pay one each time you need a hint. Which happened quite a lot for me. I blame being tired, because the game wasn't really that hard.. Nice hidden object game. The graphics and animation are better than most in the genre. The story is a bit trite, but overall the game is worth playing if you like HOGs.. Not bad. Solid and enjoyable game.
